Awesome Adventure Painting In Stonington! Puppies?

"Stonington's Yellow House And Garden"

“Stonington’s Yellow House and Garden” 6×8 oil on copper 450$ framed in gold or black with silver or gold. Shipped free.

Today I had a plan. I would drive to Stonington, an hour from my house, give a gift of Limoncello, a yellow liquor, to the couple who planted the flower garden in front of the famous yellow house.

Camden Falls Gallery had just sold my yellow house painting. I decided the flower gardener should be rewarded for his efforts!

I asked permission to paint the yellow house today while I delivered the Limoncello.

This is the most beautiful view in Stonington to paint. Alison joined me painting the yellow house.  She worked in watercolors. I liked her work very much.

I treated her to a haddock sandwich. What a great way to end Summer.

The gentleman who grows the flowers told me,  ” Ms. Lammers, I must say you work longer than any of the other artists who have come to paint this view. Most of them only stay for an hour or two. You have been here a long time.”

I told him smiling, “A good painting takes a long time to paint.”

I wish I could paint a good painting in an hour!

Robert left a message on my cell phone. Poppy was in her bed upstairs panting. I drove home quickly. She seemed fine. She brought me many toys. She went back to her bed. I wonder if the puppies will be arriving tonight?

Have a good night!
