I Painted Stonington’s Burnt Cove. Did The Goldens Want A Family Portrait?

  • Coming Into Stonington's Burnt Cove larger

“Arriving In Stonington’s Burnt Cove” 6×8 oil on copper 450$ framed in gold wood or black with silver or black with gold. Shipped free.

Today I decided to paint this view of Burnt Cove in Stonington. I used an image from a computer.

When I was finished with the painting, I decided to look at a painting I did on location

to see if I needed any details or light. I was really amazed how much light and details were in the painting from location. I added a few strokes of light. I added a few dashes of color.

I broke a brush right in half while finishing up my painting today.

I don’t think I put too much pressure on the brush’s handle. This never happened before!

We took the goldens to the beach this morning. They lined up for a family portraitit seemed!

Lily decided to walk her Mother Poppy on the leash. I was surprised Poppy was not upset about this. Lily seems to be tolerated by her Mom and Dad because they love her so much.

Luke, the red golden retriever, who is Monet’s Dad and Lily’s Grandfather, arrived for a portrait. Beautiful!

It was a foggy morning at the beach. A few hours later it cleared up and the skies turned blue. Have a great night!
